Sigh. Everybody’s making fun of us. From Jon Ralston’s column about what prominent Nevadans have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving:

Okay. Everybody raise your hand if you think it’s time to let Las Vegas annex Nor’Town.
This whole thing makes me sick. If Mayor Mike and Councilwomen Buck and Smith had not given him such a ludicrous contract, we would not be in this position. I know he’s gone. My guess is the vote will either be 4-1 or 3-2. But we shouldn’t be in this position to begin with.
Maybe the good Mayor will give up her salary for the next four years to mitigate the risk to the city?
