According to the Urban Dictionary, the latest snarky term for North Las Vegas is “norftown”. The Dictionary offers the following as an example of the term’s usage:
Paul doesn’t know exactly how to explain to his wife that he got car-jacked in norftown by a legitimate Vegas crackhead transexual hooker in a drug deal gone bad.
No doubt the author of the quote is another satisfied resident of the community of choice. Still, I think the quote would be more indicative of life in Norftown if Paul’s wife was busy ripping out the built-in stove in advance of the family’s defaulting on the mortgage.
