I wouldn’t make this a drinking game, unless you’re a tea-totaler.
The game consists in this: try to find the word “Republican” on Craig Lake’s campaign site.
Well, maybe it’s a little cruel to make fun of the Lake campaign. He’s running for Congress against Shelley Berkley, whose district o1 includes North Las Vegas and is the most heavily Democratic in the state. Berkley is also an extremely well-funded incumbent, so the only thing that would likely induce her out of her seat is John Ensign resigning from the Senate.
In other words, his campaign is pretty much doomed.
Now, if he were to go after Berkley as a protector of the wealthy and set himself up as a champion for the poor and middle class, now, that’d be interesting. But, how likely is that? His campaign is pretty much Republican boilerplate: Health care reform is bad, tax-payer “support” pledges, blah-blah-blah.
Still, it’s amusing that the word Republican is so difficult to find on his site. Guess he should call up Dan Hart to learn how to get a Republican elected in Nor’Town. Though I suspect he couldn’t afford Dano, and Dan’s looking for the greener pastures of the Berkley campaign.
